Admissions Process

Admissions to SIU programs are merit-based, considering scores from national/state level entrance exams, academic performance, and personal interviews. The process is transparent and conducted online.

Visit the official admission portal, select your desired program, verify eligibility criteria (minimum marks, required entrance exam), and fill the online application form. Application fee: ₹1500 for Indian students, $100 for international students.

Depending on the program, you may need to appear for SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test), SNAP (for MBA), or provide scores of national exams like JEE, CLAT, GATE, NEET. Shortlisted candidates are called for the next round.

Shortlisted candidates attend a Personal Interview (PI) and/or Written Ability Test (WAT). Final selection is based on combined score of entrance, academic record, and PI performance.

University Hostel Room

Safe & Comfortable Living Spaces

SIU provides separate hostels for male and female students with 24/7 security, Wi-Fi, common rooms, and laundry facilities. Rooms are furnished with beds, study tables, and storage. International student hostels offer additional amenities like kitchenettes.

Annual Hostel Fee: ₹85,000 - ₹1,20,000 (including meals).

Knowledge Resource Centre

The 5-storey central library houses over 3.5 lakh books, 25,000 e-journals, and 150 databases. Features include 24/7 digital access, group study rooms, audio-visual section, and plagiarism detection software. Trained librarians assist with research queries.

The campus features a synthetic athletic track, Olympic-size swimming pool, indoor badminton & basketball courts, gymnasium, yoga hall, and fields for cricket, football, and hockey. SIU teams regularly compete in national university tournaments.
